Yesssss, my forever Flotus! I have always found Michelle Obama incredibly inspiring but this new post-presidency, empty-nester version of her has me clapping loudly and wondering if I can get her to Panama for the retreat... HEY lol, a girl can dream ok!?!

The question she is asking herself is also relevant for you and me. There are a multitude of reasons and forces - some anticipated, some begging wtf? - that are shifting the way you think and who you previously thought YOU were:

On the eve of my birthday, if I'm honest with myself, there are some big decisions that I didn't free myself enough to make. Yes, I've been audacious throughout my 52 years but also... also, I often prioritized the needs of others OR simply let fear win.

I could've spoken on larger stages, pursued dance, published a book (that I've already written), said yes to a TEDx talk when asked, learned how to swim, done an international retreat...

It's time.

We're changing - physically, mentally & powerfully.

The United States is changing drastically.

The world is undergoing major shifts.

"...who do I truly want to be?"

Notice it isn't, what do I want, how much money can I make, where should I live?

When you allow yourself to BE the woman your spirit is calling for, the person you may not even recognize because of how and why you're making decisions, the you that you're scared of...

you will find yourself in alignment with the money, love, career and environment that SHE knows is rightfully hers.

Reader, say to yourself: "I'm choosing me".

And then actually do that.
